Network Marketing is an amazing and rewarding industry but there will be times when you will feel frustrated and discouraged because things don't seem to be working out.

People don't want to be associated with miserable or boring people. There are too many bad things going on in the world and people don't another person who will remind them of their misery. Be excited about your products and your opportunity. People will see it through you.

I don't mean that you should do something silly, but don't be like everyone else. Be different! Most people around you are ordinary and live mundane lives. The only way not to be controversial is be ordinary like everyone else. You can be different by developing a positive mindset. There are too many negative people around and our industry needs more positive people.

Many people fail in this area and this is the reason why they would sign up to an opportunity and change to something else 2 weeks later. Even if you feel you are failing in your current business, keep on trying. Winners never quit. You need to have that strong desire and will to win.

If what you are doing isn't working and you are very honest with yourself that you are putting in your very best, then you need to find out what is missing and fix it.

If you are a Christian, like me, make sure that Christ is your first priority. Don't let your business overshadow your devotional time or fellowship time.

If you have a family, your family should feel that they are very important. Many of us have gone down the network marketing business route simply because we want to spend more time with our families. So don't ignore them. It's very easy to fall into the trap of literally working 24 hours when you work from home but its important that you have family time.

I personally have my laptop under lock and bolt for about 4 hours everyday after my son gets back from school so I can create time for family.

It doesn't make any sense to have all the money in the world and have an unhappy family.

Leaders are readers. Educate yourself daily on your network marketing business and personal development material so that you will have value to give. If you look at most leaders, be it the leader of a church or the leader of a weight loss club, they have equipped themselves with plenty of value and that's why people can look up to them.

As you start to build a team in your network marketing business, appreciate your team. Show them that you care about them. Send them birthday cards and just do those little things that truly shows your team that you really care about them. When people see that you have their best interests at heart, it goes a long way and boosts their confidence in you.

To be a winner in your network marketing business, you must never consider failure as an option. Winners will do everything it takes to reach their goals. Winners talk less and take more action. Winners are winners because they didn't quit like everyone else.
